| Many schools have added character development curriculum and have enlisted NFHC's Community Educators to help. Our educators know how to encourage dialogue among students and understand the societal issues students face.
Our program helps students identify and appropriately name their experiences, investigate the roots of violence and develop conflict resolution skills. Through these discoveries, students better understand themselves and the consequences and effects of their actions. How one small pebble can make a big ripple in a pond.
Curriculum includes:
- Self Esteem Building
- Responsible Behavior
- Respectful Communication
- Being Part of a Community and Civic Leadership
- Non-Violent Behavior and Bullying
- Gender/Cultural Issues
- And other topics
The traits of good character are not only invaluable to individual students but to our community and nation.
